Oricool facemasks are made from 100% polypropylene for superior filtration and comfort. Each 3-ply construction consists of two outer layers of non-woven polypropylene and a middle layer of meltblown material that has 98+% Bacterial Filtration Efficiency*. The headband is elastic, the snaps are plastic, and the nose clip is plastic-metal.

Oricool facemasks are inspired by nature’s own strategy of using folds to fit form with function. Using origami-like folds, Oricool facemasks create face-coverings that can be adjusted and shaped to almost any face. Each mask can be optimized for four different face sizes and can accommodate a wide range of facial geometries. In addition, the patent-pending, single-loop adjustable strap threads through the top and bottom of the mask for improved comfort and snug placement. The mask reduces the discomfort and “ear pull” found in ear loop masks by securing the mask around the neck for comfortable wear.

Oricool facemasks can be washed by hand or machine using the gentle cycle setting. Prior to washing the mask, unbutton it and remove the filter and dispose of the used filter properly.  Next, rebutton the mask without the filter and place it in the wash.  DO NOT place Oricool facemasks in a dryer—air dry only.

Oricool facemasks are put on or “donned” differently than ear loop masks.  First, place the straps around your neck with the straps on each side of the mask in your left and right hands forming an “X” shape in the back.  Then place over your head with the straps around your neck first, popping the upper the straps on each side above your ears and gently fitting the mask onto your face. Adjust the cord stopper to your desired fit. Avoid pulling on the mask too hard as the fabric folds might loosen. See the diagram and video instructions here..  Finally, using both index fingers, press firmly on both sides of the nose clip to shape it properly to your nose.

Pull the straps of the Oricool facemask and take it off without touching the surface of the mask directly.

Each Oricool facemask comes with a plastic-metal nose bridge and an anti-fog nose sponge. To fit the nose clip, use even pressure from two fingers on each side and gently press the nose bridge onto your nose to seal the gap between your nose and the mask.

First unsnap the buttons.  Next unfold the mask and remove the spent filter.  Then insert the new filter between the inner face and outer face of the mask. See the diagram and video instructions here. Replace the disposable filter pad after 8 hours of use.

Oricool facemasks are washable and reusable. You can use it as long as the meltblown filter is effective, which will depend upon your usage and will vary. Each Oricool mask comes with three meltblown filters and each filter will last approximately eight hours of use. 

Oricool facemasks, like all polypropylene masks, are not recyclable. Please dispose of Oricool facemasks and filters with solid waste.
